Camp Street, Georgetown

The name Camp Street originated from the fact that is was the roads separated by a canal that runs north-south through the City and ending in the north at the military camp or garrison in Kingston. Camp Street divides the city into east and west sections. Regent Street divides the city into north and south sections. Together, Camp and Regent streets partitioned the city into four quarters.
