The D'Urban Race Course


The D'Urban Race Course was a part of the Demerara Turf Club Ltd. It was the place where the colonial elites would congregate for horse racing activities. There were at least two horse racing meeting per year. The Bel Air Race Course was also nearby.

  1. My Grandfather's horses raced here in 1914 we have the winners circle cup of that year ...Ben Battle and The Drake any info about these races would be greatly appreciated
